From October 5th to 8th, Vitrum, an international trade fair dedicated to machinery, equipment and plants for the processing of flat glass, took place in Milan.Spanish machinery manufacturer Turomas is exhibiting as an exhibitor after two years of inactivity.
The biannual conference is the first trade show for the European glass industry after the pandemic.Following this isolation, Vitrum has been responsible for bringing customers and suppliers back to market quickly, safely and efficiently.A meeting point where the realities of the industry and the challenges it will face in the coming year play out.
TUROMAS is represented by General Manager Antonio Ortega; Álvaro Tomas, TUROMAS Vice President, Alvaro Doñate, Sales Director Spain and Portugal; European Sales Director Oriol Llorens and Marketing Manager Teresa Catalán.
Visitors to the stand have the opportunity to learn more about the complete range of standardized machinery for monolithic, laminated or smart storage, as well as custom solutions from TUROMAS.
In particular, the exhibition allowed the Spanish company to present the advanced technologies and innovations it developed over the last year: a new generation of stripping systems and a new loading and cutting table for 6-meter glass – RUBI 406VA.
Most of the visitors are from European countries. In particular, the most notable projects and meetings came from the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and France, although there were also representatives from South Africa.
The company has gained a lot from participating in international exhibitions and made huge profits.Despite being the first live trade fair, the sales team was pleased with the show’s attendance and response, given that the influx of visitors was controlled but of high quality.
Vitrum 2021 has confirmed that despite the shutdowns caused by COVID, companies in the industry will continue to bet on this format of brick-and-mortar events. They have been and will continue to be an important part of the business, providing an excellent commercial presence and having a high international presence.
